Blogger DOES have categories, just like WordPress does and it's also easier to use. I've also found traffic finds my Blogger blogs much faster than it found my WordPress blogs (I finally switched my last two blogs from WP to Blogger last month) and, unlike WP, Blogger allows AdSense. With WP, you have to pay for it to be hosted somewhere else. I've been with Blogger for more than six years now and you couldn't pay me to switch. It has huge community support, plugins, themes, everything you need.
