New Domain to Google Page Rank 5 in One Month

Happy New YearGoogle said Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to Blog Traffic Exchange with the final toolbar pagerank update of 2008 according to Matt Cutts.

This was the first page rank update since launching the domain in late November with this blog. So in one month how much page rank can gain?

How does one pr5 and five pr4 pages sound? (There may be others, but I haven’t found them.)

Holy smokes! From brand new domain to Google Pagerank 5 in one month! It is too bad that pr has little real value other than bragging rights. However, based on this new information this domain company this now for sale for $2,000,000 $5,000,000.

Here are the pages

Google Pagerank 5

  1. Old Post Promoter — This is the plugin page for my first public foray into WordPress plugins.

Google Page rank 4

  1. Blog Traffic Exchange — Main page of this domain.
  2. WordPress Plugins — This is my page of WordPress plugins.
  3. Remove Dates From Permalink — Ever wanted to remove the dates from your WordPress permalink structure? Here is how to do it.
  4. 10 Benefits of Hosting your Own Blog — Title says it all.
  5. Using Blogger is a Mistake — Title says it all.

Update 5/28/10: I now have my first Page Rank 6 page: Click to Call — A wordpress plguin that integrates with your website to enable click2call.

How did I do it? Without going into the gory details, far and away the plugins are the main reason for the solid back links.

  1. Releasing and promoting 2 WordPress Plugins that are useful and are being used by people because they are useful. Old Post Promoter and Blog Copyright
  2. A few relevant blogroll link exchanges with my blogging friends.
  3. A little bit of social bookmarking.
  4. Some directory submissions.

Stay tuned the Blog Traffic Exchange is going to have a great 2009.

Very nice results. That shows how much work you have been doing behind the scenes. You have created some fine plugins too. Kudos. Cheers. Take a look at how I integrated your related web sites into my site. Go ahead and leave some feedback too.

#20 Chritian on 08.14.09 at 8:18 am

So how long does it take to get a page rank?
I’ve been boosting my alexa score daily, used keywords and structure, but still at 0 nearly a month later

#21 sterndal on 09.01.09 at 3:29 pm

nice PR5

i want PR7

is that possible?

anyways, congratulations to your PR5 and PR4s!!!

#22 Jason on 09.09.09 at 8:59 am

You should write a plugin that makes peoples WP sites pagerank 10! Now that would be worth $2m.

#23 Tracie on 09.11.09 at 11:17 pm

I’ve only started in the internet marketing about four months ago. I know that’s not very long but I’m close to throwing in the towel. I’ll check out your plug-ins and decide if it’s worth going on. I’m happy for you and jealous, too.

#24 rosie on 09.18.09 at 5:39 am

Oh, what great plugins. I am going to review them now. Also, at what point can you have toooooo many plugins?
Super congratulations

#25 vienna on 09.19.09 at 11:59 pm

#27 Andy on 12.19.09 at 11:33 am

Really useful info about boosting page ranking / seo and thanks for the plug-in!

#28 Sciphone on 01.29.10 at 7:19 pm

Great info, apart from the plug-in, the rest works also helps.
-A few relevant blogroll link exchanges with my blogging friends.
-A little bit of social bookmarking.
-Some directory submissions.
But clearly these works don’t get you PR5, i think.

#29 Mission0ps on 02.23.10 at 10:36 am

Holy Cow!!! – The response says it all ;)

#30 Coffee Cup Break on 02.28.10 at 5:34 am

Really useful ! Thanks a lot (even If I did not got BTE key as I don’t have 30 Posts)

#31 Adam on 03.02.10 at 12:19 am

I have a very good blog with all the genuine data. I am working on it since last 5 months but i am unable to increase my pagerank in google. Can you please suggest me what to do for this end?

#32 Dave on 04.24.10 at 8:55 pm

It must of have happened right before google updated their pagerank. They usually do it every 3 months.

#33 jane on 04.28.10 at 9:17 am

can someone explain to me how there are comments 12 months before the date of this post? First comment date 01.01.09, date post published Feb 6, 2010 ie 13 months later!!

strange things are afoot it seems

#34 Kevin Gillett on 04.28.10 at 10:29 am

@jane

I use the plugin that I wrote called Old Post promoter that moves old posts back to the top.

http://www.blogtrafficexchange.com/old-post-promoter/

#35 Greg on 06.29.10 at 4:02 pm

Thanks Kevin. Really gives me a shot of confidence that I can give my site’s PR up fast. So when the Old Post Promoter moves your post back up, does it make the search engine think it’s a new post?

#36 Nadim Saad on 06.29.10 at 4:52 pm

This is a great achievement! The trick I’m missing is why the “click to call” page has a PR of 6 while this one has a PR of 4 (according to my page rank checker). What determines the higher PR for one or the other?

#37 miacevedo on 09.12.10 at 8:50 pm

Thanks for the tip! what if I am not using a Blogging CMS?

#38 Salvync on 10.25.10 at 1:15 pm

I personally would like my domain to have a high page rank. This article amaze me. PR5 in one month sound unbelievable. Late congratulations.

#39 kevin on 11.18.10 at 5:22 pm

a good question then if a site like that gets to that value in a short period of time how mutch are sites worth with page ranks of say 7 8 or 9 and how many is there it would be intresting to know

#40 Jason on 11.29.10 at 3:06 pm

great motivation. i still believe on generating content above seo, but it’s good to keep all that stuff in mind because it is relevant.

#41 D.J.Rony on 06.27.11 at 5:18 am

And it is all about the backlink again. The pluggin contains link of the site so it is used and getting priority in the google link checker bots.

Those who do not know how to write a pluggin can increase back links in other way.

#42 Madge on 06.27.11 at 9:00 am

how does this possible ? that what all website owner want!

#43 Louis Rix on 06.28.11 at 8:13 am

I’ve just had a PR update in the last few days – have you encountered the same fluctuations?

#44 Andy on 01.25.12 at 2:37 pm

PR is an interesting concept and its funny but I find that our target market clinets dont really know anything about it. We talk them through it as part of our analysis stage and to show them the competition they’re up against
